Well, I jumped on the band wagon and created a blog for my family. Let's see where do I begin...I am currently staying at home right now with our two girls and loving every moment. I was working as a third grade teacher for Hudsonville Public Schools and had the privilege to take a one year leave. Now I am facing the difficult decision of whether to return. Paul works as an Occupational Therapist for Saint Mary's Home Health, Healthcare Associates, and FIT therapy. He keeps very busy!
Now, for the two little blessings in our lives....we are the proud parents of two little girls named Lydia, 3, and Ava, 1. They are so much fun! Lydia is a riot to talk to because she can hold and carry a very good conversation. We think she is so smart, but we may be a little biased:) Also, she acts like a "mother" to Ava and her dad which is somewhat humorous. She always reminds him every morning not to forget his lunch. Three year olds say the cutest things. Just yesterday, she went on the potty and said, "Oh mommy, what is the matter with my pee, it's not llellow!" As you can tell, Lydia is extremely observant and pays close attention to detail. This week, she has been so excited because she tried on Ava's bathing suits and all of them fit! This has been her daily attire for a week now...could be an interesting summer. Lydia's interests right now are reading, riding her bike, playing outside, and singing.
Ava is getting into all kinds of things...drawers, cupboards, you name it! She is babbling a ton and loves saying "hi" to people. Ava is walking all over the place! She gets where she wants to go very quickly now. She likes cell phones (the real thing), house phones, toothbrushes, balls, soft blankets, and being outside. Yesterday she threw my cordless house phone in the toilet. Thank goodness I was right there to pull it out. Yes, it still works! It's amazing to me that at one years old, a child is able to throw a tantrum, not quite as dramatic as a three year olds but still very noticeable. She is my little cuddle bug. When I am holding her, she will wrap her arms around my neck and give me a hug. Gotta cherish those moments because it does go by so quickly.
We are baby doll central over here. Both of them play with their babies pushing them around in strollers or changing their diapers.

Congrats on entering the blog world. If you haven't figured it out yet, to send a link to all those you want to give access in your blog go to settings then permissions. If you are in your blog you will need to click on customize in the upper right hand corner then you can go to settings. You can add readers email addresses. By the way, do you access to my blog?
Cool, I'm glad you're on the blog bandwagon! :) It's such a great way to keep up with other people and hear about what's new in their lives. It took me a little while to just play around under "customize" to figure out how to add things, but in the end it was pretty easy.
